Sepia Sepia Labs

Sepia Mail

Read your email and send replies from the mailbox you already use, inside your Sepia business workspace.

Connect your Gmail

In Sepia, open Settings → Your email and choose Connect Gmail. Google asks you to authorize access through Nylas, the service that carries the connection. Sepia requests your account identity, permission to read messages and settings, and permission to send email on your behalf. This email connection requests no Calendar, Drive, contacts, mailbox-modification or mailbox-deletion permission.

Read messages and reply

Connecting imports up to 50 recent messages into the selected workspace. New messages arrive through the connection. In the Inbox, you can read messages, view their attachments and send a message or reply from the mailbox you connected.

Choose the right workspace

Imported messages are workspace records and may be visible to workspace members. Assigning a personal sender controls who can send from that mailbox; it does not turn imported records into a private personal inbox.

Optional AI assistance

When you request a reply draft, summary or assistant answer using connected records, relevant context can be processed by Sepia's AI service providers. You can use the connected Inbox without requesting AI assistance. Our Privacy Policy explains Google API data use, sharing, storage and deletion.

Disconnect and manage your data

You can disconnect the mailbox in Settings. Imported messages remain workspace records until removed under the retention and deletion policy. Contact the business operating your workspace for records it controls, or info@sepialabs.ai for your Sepia account.

Sepia Mail is part of Sepia, a product of Sepia Labs LLC. Gmail authorization is published for external accounts. Google's verification is not complete; access remains subject to unverified-app warnings and Google's current 100-user authorization cap. Availability depends on the provider's access requirements.
